US FDA cosmetic facility registration
The US facility registration required for cosmetics manufacturers under MoCRA — filed through our agent, with every registered product category listed below.
What it is
Under the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act of 2022 (MoCRA), manufacturers and processors of cosmetic products must register their facilities with the US Food and Drug Administration, and renew that registration every two years from the date of initial registration.
One point buyers often get wrong: registration is not an approval, and the party that files it is usually an agent rather than an authority. Ours was filed through Shenzhen CDT Testing Technology Co., Ltd, which acts as our filing agent. The registration is held with the FDA, which is the registering authority.

Why it matters to you

- Renewal is biennial, so the date matters: this registration runs to 21 May 2028.

What this does not mean
- Registration is not an approval. The FDA does not approve cosmetic products before they reach the market.
- The products still have to meet US labelling and ingredient requirements separately.
- Registration has to be renewed every two years, so the number is only current until 21 May 2028 — ask for the renewed confirmation after that.

Is FDA registration an approval of my product?
No. Facility registration is a legal requirement under MoCRA for the site that makes the products; it is not an approval of any individual product. Products must separately meet US labelling and ingredient requirements.
What does the registered category list mean for my order?
It states the categories of product registered for this facility, reproduced above exactly as they appear in the registration. If your product's category is not listed, ask us before you order and we will confirm the position.
