What it is
ISO 22716:2007 is the international standard that gives guidelines for the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products.
It is the standard brand owners and regulators point to when they ask a factory to prove cosmetic GMP, and it is listed among the harmonised standards used in the EU single market for cosmetic products. Our certificate is issued by SGS Hong Kong Limited.

There is no public online lookup for this certificate. Verify it by scanning the QR code printed at the bottom right of the certificate — the scan is published in section 2 of the certifications page — or ask us and we will forward written confirmation from SGS Hong Kong Limited.
What this does not mean
- It certifies the GMP system of the named site. It does not approve any individual product or formula.
- ISO 22716 certification does not by itself authorise your product for the EU market — that needs a Responsible Person and a CPNP notification for the product.
- It is time-limited: it expires 6 October 2027 and is re-audited before renewal.
Questions buyers ask
Does ISO 22716 certification mean my product is approved in the EU?
No. ISO 22716 evidences the factory's GMP system. Placing a cosmetic product on the EU market separately requires an EU Responsible Person and a notification of the product itself in the CPNP portal.
